I'm Daniel, and I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and frequently wrote for their weekly student-run publication, the Albany Student Press. I'm most interested in pop culture/entertainment journalism, but I have experience writing a variety of beats. I would love to work for a magazine like Variety, People, The New Yorker, New York Magazine, TV, Guide, or similar. 

 

In my current role as a columnist at A.N. Publishing, I am responsible for researching, writing, and editing three columns monthlies focusing on Soap Opera and dramatic television news. All columns are produced with audience interest and accuracy in mind. 

From April-Aug. 2025, I interned at Hustle Magazine, where I authored several articles relevant to lifestyle and the entertainment industry. These included a recap and review of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, travel guides, album reviews, and weekly recaps of television shows including The Valley.   

 

At Respect My Region from Aug. 2024-March 2025, I published weekly Search Engine Optimized (SEO) articles on a variety of topics, including film reviews, album reviews, weekly recaps of Dancing with the Stars, recaps of award shows such as the MTV Video Music Awards and Academy Awards, and music festival lineups. 

 

During and after my studies, I interned for New York State Music. At my previous college, Suffolk County Community, I was a freelance reporter for their monthly student paper, Compass News, and served as the editor for the Arts and Entertainment beat.
